What is Virgin Hair?

Virgin Hair is hair that is in its natural state. No chemical changes, no color, has not been processed, and all cuticles are intact. It has not been mixed in with synthetic fibers or fillers. This type of hair is considered the highest quality hair available and is preferred for sew in hair extensions.  

How Many Bundles do I need for a full head?
For Lengths 8-16 Inches we recommend 2 bundles for a full head weave. For customers that may like it fuller we recommend 3 bundles. Lengths 18-30 Inches we recommend 3 bundles, for customers that like fuller hair we recommend 4 bundles.

How Many Ounces per bundle?
3.5 ounces per bundle Net Weight.

Can I color my hair extensions?
Yes! All of. You can bleach, color or perm our hair. We recommend you consult a professional to ensure you do not damage your investment. Over processing your hair extensions can cause tangling and breakage. If you have a specific style you are trying to accomplish and want us to color it for you add custom color as you select your hair of choice. If you don't see the options you want available contact us to place a custom order.

How long is the processing time?
Once you place your order with us you will receive an order confirmation. Please allow 1-3 Days for us to process your order. Once your order has been processed, we will promptly ship your order within 24 hours. Once we ship your package, you will receive tracking information. We ship through USPS priority mail. Please keep in mind that we cannot be held responsible for issues related to carrier delays. Your hair will be shipped from our Lancaster California or Atlanta Georgia shipment centers.

Does Amaya’s Premium Hair offer Military Discounts?
Absolutely! Send an email to amayaspremiumhair@gmail.com requesting a coupon code. The subject line of the email must say "Military Discount Request." In the email, please attach a copy of a valid military verification document. Once verified, you will receive a coupon code for a $25 discount off your total purchase. This codes cannot be used in combination with any offers, promotions or specials. The purchase requirement for a 3 bundle deal. Discounts cannot be applied to single bundles.

Can I cut the weft?
We advise that you don’t cut your weft, unless you absolutely need to. If you do cut your weft, tell your Hair Stylist to seal your weft so as to prevent shedding. Cutting your weft loosens the weft construction and will reduce the lifespan of your hair unless you seal the areas that were cut.

Can I flat iron my weave?
Yes, because Amaya’s Premium Hair is natural human hair, you may flat iron, blow-dry or dye hair. We strongly suggest the use of a heat protectant to minimize the damage on your Amaya’s Premium Hair Extensions. Please see our hair care page for details. We will recommend that you reduce the amount of heat used on the hair to prevent damage. After a wash, we prefer that you air dry your hair.

How long will my hair last?
The longevity of your Amaya’s Premium Hair primarily depends on the daily and overall care provided to the hair. With the proper care Amaya’s Premium Hair has been known to last for re-use for a period of at least 12-36 months or longer. The better you care for them the longer they will last.

Are all bundles the same?
No, Virgin hair is distinct and no two heads of hair are exactly alike. Our photos are meant to give you a good idea of the texture and color. Due to the natural nature of our hair, we cannot guarantee that each bundle will be of the same color or wave/curly texture. This should be assurance that you have purchased REAL Virgin hair.
