Waist Training.. Does it really work?

Waist Training- My Story

Well lets see, I am a 36 year old mother of 3. My oldest is 6, then 3 and then 1 years old. My motherhood has been riddled with interesting twists and turns..One of them was the simple fact that I had my first kid at 30 AND My body did not snap back!! After my first pregnancy & delivery ( c-section)  I was in pain, couldn't stand up straight and my mid-section looked like a sloppy mess.  I later found out that I had diastisis recti which basically means my abdominal muscles stayed separated after pregnancy. This condition does not automatically heal itself depending on the severity, nor is it really recognized by doctors or treated as an important health issue. Even though, it causes major back pain, dietary issues, and a forever mommy pooch that can be devastating to ones self esteem!! It takes a combination of diet & exercise, and compression to resolve this condition..

So I started experimenting. First stop, the Kim Kardashian belly bandit. Pros- worked, helped my posture & pain and did help my under belly pooch go down. Cons-the price, too expensive, especially considering that i had to by two at a whopping $60 a pop. I ended up spending $120. It rolled. if I wore it all day it would roll up on me.  with my hands full of baby, I really did not have time to be worried about a belly bandit induces muffin top! It was also bulky and very obvious under clothing, which did not help my confidence! Baby#2 I simply used the belly band provided by the hospital. while it was comfortable it did not contour my body, it simply provided itchy support that rolled and stuck out of my shirt!! but it was free.  Baby#3 I used the same hospital grade belly wrap for the 1st month. Although this hospital belly band worked in my last pregnancy. It did not completely correct my diastisis rec-ti. This was my last baby and I knew that I had to get back my sexy tummy that I so loved before kids.. I begin to research waist training, postpartum belly wrapping etc. My research led me to information that indicated steel boned corsets where some of the most effective waist training tools and in general produced more results and better contouring than other waist training methods. So I ordered my first and began my journey.

My experience with still boned latex corsets. My first wearing experience...When I first put it on I have to be honest I felt very uncomfortable. It was tight, made me stand up straight, pushed my chest up, and it was hot!!   At the same time though, I was able to lift my heavy kids, take them up and downstairs, stand on my feet for long hours, or sit for long hours without the usual post c-section back pain. after about a month of wearing it daily for as hours at a time, and sometimes when I slept. I noticed that I could now use the second row of clasps!! I loved the way my belly looked when I took it off, I loved the way it looked under clothes. etc.. Now a year later I am on my 3rd size and addicted to the contours of my new shape.  All thanks to the latex steel boned corset!  THIS IS MY HONEST REVIEW AND EXPERIENCE WITH WAIST TRAINING. KEEP IN MIND ALL RESULTS MAY NOT BE THE SAME BUT IF USED PROPERLY YOU CAN ALSO TAKE YOUR BODY BACK!!
